Romney's "fire" comment

This struck me as bold & insightful, and I would like to see Romney defend the principle involved instead of apologizing & backing down.

I would also like to see the principle extended to other areas to weaken the power of abusive governments.

For example, high-earning Americans who live in a state with an undesirable tax situation, like, say, California, can fire that state's government and hire the government of another state with no state income tax. Apparently Tiger Woods did something like that when he moved from California to Florida.
