Barry Ptolemy says Ray Kurzweil has signed up for cryonics.

The subject comes up eventually in this podcast interview with Ptolemy as they discuss his documentary about Kurzweil, which I haven't seen, titled Transcendent Man:

Kurzweil's connection to cryonics leaves me ambivalent, given his embrace of medical woo. The cryopreservation of the brain through vitrification makes testable scientific claims (for example) which we need to keep carefully separated from pseudoscience like Kurzweil's apparent obsession with homeopathy.
