Setting the record straight about something

Larry Johnson in his book Frozen does NOT claim that Alcor employees struck Ted Williams's frozen head for fun, despite what you might have heard from the irresponsible who don't bother to check sources. Instead Johnson claims that he saw Alcor employee Hugh Hixon, a man in his 60's with a history of heart problems and probably some deterioration in his fine motor control, strike TW's head accidentally:



I didn't witness this alleged event, so I don't know if it really happened. Given the problems I have with Johnson's book regarding things I do know about, I feel inclined to doubt this particular passage.
